The clash between the two Federal Eastside teams, Red and White, highlighted the KFC Alice Springs Netball Association Division 1 games on Saturday. Red won the match 47-33 after a scintillating first half when it doubled White's score 27-13. A classic clash between Red's Tegan Hatzimihail and White's Tahlia Lee was a highlight of the game with Hatzimihail shooting 11 goals in three quarters before the association's premier defender was switched to goal keeper to counter young star
shooter Brooke Wilson. By then Wilson had netted 23 goals and despite Lee's efforts netted another eight goals. Another interesting move was Amy Schembri lining up for Red while sister Dana was centre for the White team. It was also interesting that the Red team played in White bibs while the White team wore green.

Rovers Complete Construction defeated Wests Epilogue 67-25 in the other Division 1 game. A 17-6 opening term put the game firmly in Rovers hands. This onslaught was followed by terms of 16, 15 and a final burst of 19 goals. Rovers started with Piper Nicholai and Molly Southam in the attack circle and replaced Nicolai, who shot 17 of the 33 goals, with Chloe Bethel, who netted 17 of the next 34 goals at half time. Wests' best quarter was the second when it scored 11 goals, but it was a one quarter effort.

Wests Gillen Club had the bye after Neata Glass Giants was regraded to Division 2. This regrading created nine teams in Division 2 with Federal Angels being rostered the bye. Giants lost its first game in its new grade with Sundowners Alice Hospitality Supplies winning the game 42-36. The third quarter proved the decisive term with Sundowners scoring 10 goals to six after holding a slim lead at the long break.

Rovers TDC scored the narrowest of wins, a 38-37 success against Wests Jaws Contracting. The other two games were decided by double-figure margins. Seasons defeated Rovers Complete Construction 40-19 and Seasons Flinders University won 47-30 against Federal AKC. The closest 17-and-under game was a 35-29 win by Rovers Ravens against sister-side Rovers Raptors. Rovers Wreckers defeated Wests 49-23 and Federal Red overpowered Giants Bark 'n' Bath 75-18.
