The Section One Theory Exam is now available on line!! Simply complete the exam online, receive a 70% pass, print out your certificate and show it to the ASNA Umpires Coordinator. The exam is timed, you have 60 minutes to answer 100 questions so it really is a matter of knowing your rules before you start. Go to the Netball Australia website and follow the link from the home page or click here.

The Alice Springs Netball Association recently received $400 from the Lions Club of Alice Springs and the Camel Cup Committee. These funds were applied for and will be used to purchase new free standing stopwatches for each netball court. Hopefully these new stopwatches will last longer in the heat! Thanks to the Camel Cup committee for supporting netball and a number of other local community groups. 
 
Umpiring News Print E-mail
The ASNA's application for a Grassroots Grant through the NT Government has been successful! This is great news and will enable ASNA to conduct the planned mentoring course for umpires, to supply rules books and gate passes to Association umpires and to fully implement the umpiring ideas as discussed at the Umpires Think Tank.

In addition, it has been confirmed that an AA umpire will be attending the pre season carnival planned for 7-8 March 2009. This will provided much needed umpires development so stay posted for more. Information will be sent to Clubs prior to the start of the season.
 
San Remo Net-Set-Go Print E-mail


Net Set Go concludes this week with 30 youngesters having been introduced to the game of netball. A BIG thank you to Leanne Southam our coach and to Tegan Pannell our ambassador and to Karen Nicoli and Sharon Walker for assisting with the program. Look out for San Remo Net Set Go in 2009!
